  • Account Information: When you register directly or via Single Sign-On (SSO) providers (such as Google), we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials.
  • Billing Information: Payment transactions are handled by third-party payment processors. We retain transaction metadata, billing addresses, and tax invoice history for corporate expense reporting, but we do not store full credit card numbers.
  • Content Submitted for Processing: URLs, web article text, and uploaded PDF documents submitted through the browser extension or web dashboard for parsing and EPUB conversion.
  • Integration & Delivery Configurations: Device delivery addresses (e.g., your Send-to-Kindle email address) and authorization tokens for connected third-party platforms (such as Zotero, Dropbox, or Google Drive).
  • Technical & Usage Data: Browser extension metadata, conversion logs, page counts, error reports, and standard telemetry necessary to maintain service reliability and rate limits.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Executing Conversion & Delivery: To extract, clean, parse with OCR/AI engines, format into EPUBs, and wirelessly transmit your selected articles and PDFs to your configured e-reader devices.
  • Account & Subscription Management: To process subscriptions, manage tiered conversion quotas (such as monthly PDF limits), and generate expense-ready receipts.
  • Service Improvements: To diagnose processing errors, optimize reflow accuracy across varied layouts, and maintain platform security.

4. Data Processing and Retention Principles

  • Ephemeral Document Processing: Files and URLs submitted for conversion are processed solely to generate your requested EPUB output. Converted files are retained on temporary servers only as long as necessary to complete wireless transmission or user-directed download, after which they are purged.
  • No AI Training on Private Content: We do not use the proprietary text, personal whitepapers, or documents you submit to train public machine learning or LLM models.
  • No Selling of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or reading lists to advertisers or third-party data brokers.

5. Third-Party Disclosures & Integrations

We share data only with external service providers strictly necessary to operate the platform:

  • Cloud & Processing Infrastructure: Cloud hosting providers and parsing pipelines that process conversion jobs under strict confidentiality agreements.
