Cancellation and Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 27, 2026

1. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your Reader Beaver subscription at any time without contacting customer support:

  • Open the Reader Beaver Extension or navigate to your web dashboard.
  • Go to Account Settings > Billing & Subscriptions.
  • Click Manage Subscription and select Cancel Subscription.
  • Complete the on-screen confirmation prompts. You will receive an automated cancellation confirmation email.

2. Subscription Renewal and Access

  • Access Through Billing Period: When you cancel a paid monthly or annual subscription, your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You will maintain full access to your plan’s features, conversion limits, and device delivery pipelines until that date.
  • No Unwanted Charges: Your payment method will not be charged again once the cancellation is registered.
  • Reactivation: You may resume or renew your subscription at any time directly through your billing portal.

3. Refund Policy

  • Non-Refundable Fees: Except where strictly mandated by applicable local law, all recurring subscription charges are non-refundable. We do not offer prorated refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused monthly page quotas, or mid-cycle tier downgrades.
  • Billing Inaccuracies: If you believe a transaction was processed in error (e.g., duplicate charges or post-cancellation billing errors), notify our team within 14 days of the charge date for account review.

4. Data and Quota Handling Post-Cancellation

  • Usage Quotas: Monthly PDF page quotas and AI reflow allocations do not roll over or convert into store credits upon plan cancellation.
  • Account Retention: Canceling a paid plan does not delete your login credentials or previously synced reading metadata. Premium AI parsing, OCR features, and automated delivery pipelines will simply revert to standard base/free limits once the active paid cycle finishes.
  • Invoices: Past itemized tax receipts and expense documentation remain available in your account billing archive for business and Learning & Development (L&D) reporting.
